Leadership is more than just a position
LeaderLy was created in 2022 by Lynda Mansson in collaboration with André Hoffmann to help develop the leaders the world needs to achieve the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals. We believe that leadership is more than just a position – it’s a responsibility to drive meaningful change and achieve a more equitable and sustainable future for us all.
Our vision for mission-driven leadership is anchored in six core principles that guide everything we do – building powerful collaborations, being authentic and creating trust, learning continuously and listening deeply, acting with courage, managing complexity and uncertainty and caring for self and others.
Our tailored coaching & mentoring, teamwork and leadership services are designed to help mission-driven leaders and their teams maximise their impact, overcome challenges, and lead with clarity and confidence.
Through our expanded network of 20 experienced coaches, LeaderLy can also now offer additional pro bono services to certain eligible individuals and teams.
Lynda has over 30 years experience as a leader in the non-profit space combined with powerful coaching skills.
Before founding LeaderLy, I was the CEO of the MAVA Foundation, a family philanthropic foundation working on nature conservation and sustainable economy.
For 13 years, I led a team of 20 people to grant over CHF 1.1 billion to over 500 organisations to support work in favor of nature and people. Previously, I held various leadership positions at WWF International in Switzerland, also for 13 years.I have conducted training over the years in leadership, management, team building, negotiations, conflict within teams, motivation, and change management. I have a PCC accreditation with the International Coaching Federation and an IDC/EMCC coaching certificate. I serve on the boards of ICF Coaching Education, B Lab Switzerland, Unearthodox, Fondation Audemars Piguet for Common Good, and the Swarovski Foundation. I am also advisor to Cartier for Nature.
I am American and Swiss and have made Switzerland my home for over 30 years. I work in English and French.
André is a passionate advocate for business as a force for good.
André is dedicated to empowering individuals and organisations to act in favour of people, planet, and profit. Alongside his non-executive role in the family business and numerous corporate board memberships, André has an extensive background and interest in nature conservation and sustainability.
He is the Vice-Chair of Roche Holding and has served on a number of non-profit boards, including the MAVA Foundation, WWF International, Tour du Valat, the Capitals Coalition, SystemIQ, the World Economic Forum, and many others.
He and his wife Rosalie established the Hoffmann Global Institute in Business and Society (HGIBS) at INSEAD, his Alma mater, and André chairs its Advisory Board. The aim is to integrate sustainability across the entire MBA curriculum.
